𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Four fisherfolk associations (FAs) and a private company assisted by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-Region 1 joined the Kadiwa ng Pangulo Trade Fair organized by the Department of Agriculture- Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (DA-AMAD) held at the Robinson’s Place Calasiao, Pangasinan on July 12-14, 2024.

These are the Hou Yang Food Corporation, a Dagupan City-based food manufacturing company that processes frozen bangus and chicken products; the Mark ka Fishpond which grows catfish in Bayambang; the Tiblong Flavored Salt in San Fabian; and the Bugallon Farmers and Fisherfolk Association which sells dried fish products. All four FAs are based in Pangasinan province wherein records showed that they raised a total sales of P72, 814.00 during the three-day activity.

One fisherfolk association in La Union, the Ubagan FA, also participated in the event through the initiative of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG)-La Union.
