To equip Senior High School students with valuable knowledge and hands-on experience, a School-Based Orientation on Work Immersion cum Signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for Work Immersion Partnership took place on January 10, 2025, at Alaminos City National High School.
This event, attended by BFAR1 Regional Director Rosario Segundina P. Gaerlan and OIC-RMATDEC Lucap Antonieta D. Evangelista, allows schools to collaborate with various institutions, aligning with the students’ specific areas of specialization.
Work immersion allows Senior High School learners to familiarize themselves with the work environment, apply their skills in real situations, and prepare for their future as part of the workforce.
Some of the partner agencies that attended include the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Commission on Elections, Alaminos City Water District, LGU Alaminos, and the Red Cross.
