Central Luzon State University (CLSU) recently held its 34th Midyear Commencement Exercises, recognizing the triumph of its graduates, including two (2) Fisheries Scholarship Program (FSP) scholars from BFAR Region 1, completing their Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries.
A graduation tribute was also held last February 19, 2025, at the CLSU College of Fisheries, honoring graduates for their dedication, hard work, and success as BFAR scholars. Two graduates received certificates of acknowledgment recognizing their remarkable devotion and perseverance in their academic pursuits.

A plaque and a check amounting to P20,000 were given to Jean Hazel B. Ganigan, Fisheries Industry Leader grantee, as reward for earning Latin honors with academic distinction as Cum Laude. Meanwhile, Federico G. Galdonez Jr., a Fisherfolk Children Educational Grant recipient, also received a certificate of recognition as merit acknowledgment for his excellent scholastic efforts.
FSP Scholars were recognized during the send-off ceremony for the College of Fisheries graduating students with the theme, “Beyond the Reef: Navigating Uncharted Waters, Charting Your Course to Success.”
