Stepping into purple and marching for equality this women’s month .
This Wednesday, as part of the month-long 2025 Women’s Month celebration, personnel from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Regional Fisheries Office 1 join various agencies to participate in the GAD Walk organized by Regional Advocates for Gender and Equality (RAGE) 1.
With the theme “๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐,” the event kicked off at Barangay Madayegdeg, making its way to the Police Regional Office 1, bringing together men and women standing united for the cause, and showing their support for gender equality.
After the walk, participants engaged in an energizing Zumba session, which had everyone moving and filled with energy, followed by a Mass commemorating Ash Wednesday, offering a moment of reflection and spiritual connection. The program then continued with a vibrant showcase of cheers from different agencies, adding a fun and competitive element to the event.
Together, let us continue to march towards a future where equality is the standard, not the exception.
