𝐁𝐅𝐀𝐑 𝐔𝐍𝐎’𝐬 𝐌.𝐎.𝐕.𝐄. (Men Opposed to Violence against Women Everywhere) Inc., conducts an awareness program entitled “Adopt a School in a Coastal Community.”

Gratitude and joy filled the faces of the children as they received additional knowledge, some snacks, and school supplies during the event at Ubagan Elementary School in Sto. Tomas, La Union.

The awareness-building activity included discussions on important topics such as drugs and teenage pregnancy, led by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚, Medical Officer III of the DOH-Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, and valuable insights on coastal resource management by 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐂. 𝐑𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨 of BFAR1’s Fisheries Resources and Management Section. The activity was undertaken in coordination with the office’s Gender and Development (GAD) Focal System for the Women’s Month celebration.
